Anna Busby
TITLE: Director/Hilltop Christian School
Anna moved to Oregon in 1990. She graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in 1980 with a degree in Bible and a degree in Elementary Education.
She is married to Philip. He is a general contractor and a graphic designer. Anna and Philip have two daughters, Amber and Patsy. The entire family loves living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
At an early age, Anna had a desire to become a Christian school teacher. She taught before she had her children and then had the privilege of being home with them until they began high school. Anna found joy in substituting in a number of Christian schools until July of 2007, at which time she became the Director of Hilltop Christian School. The school motto says, “Where Children Reach New Heights.” It is Anna’s desire to continue to help make this possible.
For Anna and her family, camping and hiking are treasured memories. Every year they leave time in the schedule to spend several weekends in the beautiful outdoors. Anna also enjoys playing the piano and curling up with a great book. Most of all she finds her greatest joy being surrounded by her family.
Anna home-schooled her girls from Kindergarten through the eighth grade. In 2001 she began substituting in several Christian schools finding Hilltop Christian School in 2005. Anna continued substituting at Hilltop for two years. One word sums up her teaching time at Hilltop – Awesome! Now, she is pleased to be the director of the school and is honored to be part of such a great staff. As the school motto says, “Where Children Reach New Heights”, it is her desire to continue to help make this possible.
