Pastor Ron Cochran
TITLE: Executive Pastor
RESPONSIBILITIES: Administration / Music / Worship
Ron has served as a pastor at Portland Christian Center for the past 20 years. He is a graduate of Bethany University in Santa Cruz, California. He also received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Sacred Music from California Graduate School Of Theology. Prior to joining the staff at Portland Christian Center, Ron served for 15 years as Minister Of Music at Willamette Christian Center in Eugene, Oregon.
Ron and his wife, Cheryll have been ministry partners for over 30 years, ministering in the local church and in missions projects around the world. They have seen that music is a language that can communicate the love of Christ in any culture. Together Ron & Cheryll lead a Music Ministry that involves every age group…from the youngest to the oldest. Over 300 people are actively involved in the Music Ministry of Portland Christian Center on a weekly basis.
Ron & Cheryll have 2 married children, Gregg & Janna Cochran and Crystal & Ryan Bridges. They are also the very proud grandparents of their new grandson, Carter Rush Cochran. Their favorite place to spend time with family & friends is Sunriver, Oregon.
