Tana Hines
Title: Early Childhood Director
Responsibilities: Nursery Age Birth – 2 & Preschool Ages 3-Kindergarten
Tana has attended PCC since moving to Portland in January of 1992. She graduated from Oregon State University with a major in business and a minor in psychology. She worked in the corporate world for 16 years before leaving that behind to join the PCC staff as the Children’s Ministry Assistant in January of 2004. In September of 2007 she was promoted to the Early Childhood Director. She is married and has two children, a son who has been though the children’s ministry department here at PCC and a daughter who is currently part of the children’s ministry department.
Tana has volunteered in children’s ministries since her arrival here at PCC. She was a parent participant in the nursery, a nursery team captain, a Missionette teachers assistant, the Rainbow Club check in person, a Sunday School teachers assistant, has directed the preschool program for Young Champions and as been a counselor and the Dean of Women at Royal Family Kids Camp. Her heart and passion is for the youngest members of PCC.
Church is Tana’s and her families second home. Outside of church Tana enjoys spending quality time with her family, loves to bake and loves the fall season and the college football that accompanies the season.
