Attend a Celebration Service
We place a high priority on our Celebration Services each Sunday at 10:30 AM. Worshipping and learning in community with others is one of the best ways to re-align yourself with God. The love of God shines each Sunday in Portland as we worship Him in our church services. Join in!
Read the Bible
As we read God’s Word, we begin to see how God responds to life issues and the people around Him. Then when we face similar situations as Jesus did, we begin to respond in the same way. This year we began a journey through God’s Word following a one-year, chronological Bible Reading Plan. Check out this excellent plan [here].
Prayer is all about two-way communication. Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them (Matt. 18:20). Practice daily prayer and joining others in one of our many prayer venues. To stay informed of the prayer needs of our church or to submit your own prayer request, visit The Prayer Wall.
Join a Class or Small Group
Whether it is a class or a small group, there are many opportunities to grow and learn together. Be brave—jump in! Life Learning classes and groups are offered throughout the week on campus and in host homes. New classes begin every quarter and you are welcome to jump in at any time. See our schedule [here].
Giving of your time, talents and treasures pleases the heart of God and fulfills your purpose on this earth. God has a ministry for every one of His children and a mission He has specifically called you to to advance His kingdom. When you selflessly serve with your time, your abilities, and your treasure, you glorify God. We have many opportunities to discover your gifts, learn about giving generously, and finding a place to serve in our church, our city, and around the world.
