Midweek : Nursery
Infants – 23 Months
What to Expect
We know that leaving your baby in an unfamiliar place can be overwhelming. We want to assure you that your precious one will be safe and happy with us. We have a state of the art nursery and trained employees and volunteers who love children. All of our employees are CPR certified and trained in basic first aid. And anyone who comes in contact with your baby has undergone background screening.
What to Bring
Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby throughout their time with us.
Teachable 2’s
What to Expect
Once a child turns 2 they are promoted to our Teachable 2’s class. Once kids get to the Teachable 2's, they participate in an interactive Bible story, worship time, age-appropriate crafts and enjoy a snack time. We serve gold fish and animal crackers for snacks.
What to Bring
If your child has any allergies, please bring an appropriate snack from home. We also ask that you bring his or her own sippy cup so your child will have something to drink at snack time. We strongly encourage that no toys from home are brought to church. This way they cannot get lost.
Midweek Nursery Hours
Our nursery is open at 6:45 PM on Wednesday evenings to allow moms and dads who are attending 7:00 PM activities ample time to drop off their little one. For parents attending 6:00 PM workshops, you may drop off your child as early as 5:45 PM. If you are not attending a 6:00 PM workshop or activity, we kindly ask you to keep your child with you until the regular 6:45 PM check in time, as we are not fully staffed until then.
Safety & Security
Safety and security are very important to us here at NW Kids. We use a state of the art paging system in our nursery so that a parent can be located when their child needs them. The numbered pager is also the security ticket for getting your child back. Whoever picks up a child from the nursery MUST have the numbered pager in order to get their child from the nursery.
