Anna Busby
Preschool Director
Mrs. Busby joined Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten in 2005. She was involved in the school in a number of areas and in 2007 became the Director. Mrs. Busby was actively involved in the children’s ministry of her church for 18 years and has a vivacious love for children and a desire to help each child reach their greatest potential. She is married and has two daughters. Mrs. Busby enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, listening to music, cooking and having people to her house.
Kelly Anderton
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, Spanish Classroom Integration, Spanish Enrichment Program
Miss Kelly has worked at Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten since 1995. She has a sincere love for children and is currently our Spanish teacher and the teacher for our Kidz Klub. Miss Kelly is involved in the children’s ministry at Portland Christian Center. She is married and has two children. Miss Kelly enjoys politics and spending her time being mom.
Rachel Chang
Pre-Kindergarten Assistant, Chinese Teacher, After School Kids (A.S.K.)
Miss Rachel came to Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten in 2004. She loves to make children happy by doing lots of fun crafts and activities. Miss Rachel is the greatest! She has two sisters and three brothers. In her spare time Miss Rachel likes tutoring in Chinese, watching good movies, reading a great book, and just hanging out with friends.
Laura Dickson
Preschool Fours Teacher
Miss Laura has worked at Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten since 2003. She loves kids and is actively involved with Royal Family Kids Camp a ministry supported through Portland Christian Center. Miss Laura is married and has two children, who have both attended Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten at one time. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball, and tae-kwon-do.
Deanna Prior
Preschool Threes Teacher
Miss Deanna came on staff at Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten since September of 1998. She teaches our Threes class and leads our Hilltop Parent Organization Program (HPO). Miss Deanna is married and has two sons. In her spare time she loves scrapbooking, decorating her home and spending time with her family.
Leslie Ross
Assistant to the Director
Miss Leslie came to Hilltop in the fall of 2010. She is married and has one son who attended Hilltop for three years. He still enjoys coming back for visits! Miss Leslie brings her experience from several early childhood learning centers as well as her certification as a secondary mathematics teacher to the Hilltop office. Miss Leslie and her family are actively involved in several ministries here at Portland Christian Center. She enjoys being a “Soccer Mom” and spending time with her family and two dogs.
Amy Slater
Kidz Club Teacher
Miss Amy joined Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten in August, 2010. She comes to Hilltop with precious teaching experience. She and her family attend Portland Christian Center where her husband, Joel is currently an associate Pastor. Together they are involved in various ministries within the church community. Amy and her husband have three children and enjoy spending time as a family.
Meredith Tento
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Tento came to Hilltop Preschool & Kindergarten in the fall of 2007. With over 10 years of experience in the classroom, her expertise and passion for children has been a wonderful contribution to our Kindergarten program. Mrs. Tento is married and has two children. In her spare time she enjoys attending her children’s after school activities and sports programs.
