JBQ is a competitive Bible quizzing program for 1st through 5th grade, kindergarten by approval. Children are taught Bible facts, doctrine and scripture memorization core to the Christian belief. The mission of JBQ is found in Psalms 119:11 "I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.". JBQ teams have lots of fun competing during the year against teams from other churches in Oregon and SW Washington and quizzers earn ribbons, trophies and other awards for demonstrating their knowledge of the Bible. Participants also learn the proper Christian attitude regarding sportsmanship and competition, including making friends with quizzers from other churches.
