Stuck in a rut and can’t get out? Do you want to change, but don’t know how? There are always new sins for the Christian to address and new enemies to defeat. The Christian life makes God's work of change our paradigm for living, while we celebrate the grace that makes it possible. So what does it take for lasting change to take root in your life? If you've ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need this powerful series, How People Change. We will take a look at the transformative, Biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way that you can apply to the challenges of daily life.
For the record: This class is not a self help class nor does it offer you a 1-2-3 formula. Change involves more than just a biblical formula. This course will help you to understand the underlying motivations for your actions and give you specific practical Biblical help in changing long-standing patterns of behavior. No matter what you struggle with now, no matter how successful or stuck you see yourself to be, no matter how young or how old you are in your faith, no matter if you are a man or a woman, a boy or a girl, if you are Christ's child, there is hope for you! And, the Bible is clear on how that can take place in your life.
The Bible is shockingly honest and shockingly hopeful all at the same time. This study will communicate with honesty and hope the Truth of the Bible integrated into a willing life to become more like Christ.
All ages are welcomed. There is nocharge for this class, but offerings will be taken.
