Nursery on Sundays

Infants – 23 Months

What to Expect

Leaving your child in an unfamiliar place can be overwhelming.  We have separate infant (0-12 mo.) and toddler (up to 23 mo.) age appropriate rooms.  Our goal is to ensure your child is safe, nurtured, and cared for.  When checked in, your child will receive a security badge and name badge for their bag stating any special instructions.  You will receive a pager with your child's ID# on it.  We know there is a lot of transition during this time and we are here to accommodate the specific needs of each child.  Whether it is feeding, how long to let cry, or special items to help them sooth; know that we value your trust in knowing that they will be given the best care possible.

What to Bring

Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby throughout their time with us.

Teachable 2’s

What to Expect

Once a child turns 2 they are promoted to our Teachable 2’s class. The kids participate in an interactive bible story, worship time, craft time and snack time. We serve gold fish and animal crackers for snack.  If there are any allergies we have special stickers and make sure the staff are aware of them.

What to Bring

If your child has any allergies you should bring a snack from home for them. We also ask that you bring their own sippy cup so they will have something to drink at snack time. We strongly encourage that no toys from home are brought to church. This way they cannot get lost.

Safety & Security

Safety and security are very important to us here at Adventure Kids. We use a state of the art paging system in our nursery so that a parent can be located when their child needs them. The numbered pager is also the security ticket for getting your child back. Whoever picks up a child from the nursery must have the numbered pager in order to get the child from the nursery.
