Applying to HILLTOP

Thank you for your interest in HILLTOP Preschool & Kindergarten. We are excited about our preschool and Kindergarten programs, and are looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year as a premiere preschool in Portland! Check out our application process or review our Tuition & Fees.

Our offerings include:

  • Early 3's:   M/W or T/TH
  • Late 3's and 4's:   M/W/F or T/TH
  • Pre-Kindergarten:   M/W/F or T/TH
  • Kindergarten:   M-F
  • Kidz Klub:  Every Friday
  • Extended hours M-F:  Lunch Bunch from 11:30 to 12:30 PM, and After School Kids Program (A.S.K.) from 12:30 PM until 4 PM each day.
  • Enrichment Programs throughout the week: Creative Dance and Soccer Shots after school programs, along with Spanish language enrichment in the classroom, and more!

Schedule and tuition can be viewed [ here }. Class openings are filled on a first come, first serve basis and fill up quickly. We begin registering HILLTOP families first in January for the new school year, and then open registration to new families on the first week of February.

HILLTOP'S Application Process

  1. Complete the School Application and submit it to Hilltop's office along with the application fee.
    New Student Application Fee: $150.00 (non-refundable)
    Returning Student Application Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable)

    Kindergarten Families: Please include a copy of your student’s birth certificate.

    Note: Application file is complete & ready to be processed when all forms are completed and fees paid.

  2. Application is processed and placement decision is made by HILLTOP Administration.
    If HILLTOP cannot place your student in any class, due to space limitations, the application fee will be refunded, less an administrative fee. If you choose to withdraw your application, the application fee will not be refunded. However, when space becomes available in a class, applicants will be reviewed based on the date of approved applications to determine admittance in accordance with our admission policy and process.
  3. Confirmation letter is mailed out.
