Christmas Celebration Set Construction

Location: PCC Sanctuary/Foyer
Join the team which constructs and prepares the set for our 2008 Christmas Celebration. We have jobs which entail both light lifting and heavy lifting. Backstage Kids Volunteers Needed
December 3 – 14
Time: 3:00 - 9:00 PM, every night we have a Christmas Concert
Location: PCC Trailhead
If you love Christmas, you will love volunteering at Backstage Kids! Backstage Kids is our special program of fun games and activities for kids participating in the Christmas performances while they are not on stage.
We offer an exclusive break lounge for volunteers with a special surprise this year. Parents who volunteer can bring their children who are not participating in the concerts with them, so they can enjoy the fun, too! This is an excellent place for families who are looking to begin a holiday tradition of serving the community together. Please contact Pastor St John [ email ] to get involved!
Christmas Card Mailbox

Location: PCC Foyer
Avoid the Christmas rush at the post office, and use our handy M’s Girls Club Christmas Card Mailbox to send cards to fellow PCC attendees. Simply drop off your bundle of cards, and our girls will take care of the rest. And don’t forget to check for cards sent to YOU! Donations gratefully accepted, in the amount you would have spent on postage. Simply deposit your offering in an envelope marked with “M’s Club Mailbox”. This year Portland Christian Center will offer a communion service at 5 PM on December 24. Bring your family and friends for Christmas carols, scripture reading, and communion. Jesus is the reason for the season, so lets celebrate!

Oregon Food Bank Food Drive
November 3 - 23
Oregon Food Bank is one of the most looked-to sources for emergency food needs. Last year PCC donated a record-setting amount of food, which benefited thousands of people throughout the year. Take time this year to bring non-perishable items to PCC, drop them into the Oregon Food Bank barrels, and enjoy the privilege of helping others. Upward Basketball Sports Ministry

Registration is open for Upward Basketball, a Christian-based basketball league open to all children ages K-6. Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge
Children’s Ministries would like to thank everyone who contributed financially to the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge last month. Your generous support helps equip missionaries around the world with much needed Bible curriculum and audio/visual equipment. Our very own Pastor Tami Henkes, ministering to little ones in Romania, is one of the missionaries we can bless through the donations collected.
