Top Question:
Do you have to have an iPod to use Podcasts?
Answer: "No"

The only equipment requirements are (1) a computer, (2) internet connectivity, and (3) audio speakers and/or headphones. The advantage of an MP3 player like the iPod is that you can take your music and podcasts with you when you leave your computer.
