"Soli Deo Gloria - A Study in Romans"
“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.” (Romans 11:36)
Romans: Offering Our Everyday Lives To God
Synopsis: Someone has called the book of Romans the “PhD of the New Testament”. For sure, there is no clearer and more complete presentation of the faith than this book. The Apostle Paul brought his “A-game” when he wrote Romans, masterfully expounding on most of the major doctrines of Christianity. He language is lofty yet practical, his purpose is confrontive yet compelling, and his content deeply theological yet truly life changing. But at the end of the day, Romans is really about the believers call to worship; that is, the irresistible offering of our everyday lives—our 24/7, breathing, eating, sleeping, working walking around lives—as a living sacrifice to God. In light of all that he has done for us, it’s only logical: to live for the glory of God alone—Soli Deo Gloria!
